I have been so tired that I haven't managed to make this post until now...This all happened on a lovely Tuesday...(13.5.2008..) -[which is btw my best friend's birthday]
In the morning everything seemed quite normal. I was tired...Then I went to work..as I have done for "couple" of weeks now...Then I was doing something...umm...Anyway..when someone shouted: 'Hey! Come, let's go and see what's going on over there!' ..I looked into the sky. Part of it was covered with something black..'Wow! A thunderstorm!' was my first thought...Then I realised it was really a pillar of smoke!
...We went to watch what was making the smoke. There were a car burning. And it wasn't just a little camp fire -flames were all over it -and they were high...The backs of the nearest cars were also on fire...
...Then firefighters came and the episode was quickly over.
...After work I went to see what was left of the car...There weren't much left. Just some pieces of supporting structure...those metal ones of course...
It wasn't something one see everyday...so I decided to write about it... ^^

Yeah, it certainly was something you don't see every day. Geez, the flames were like 10-15 meters high. I just hope that the guy who owned that car had his (or her, who knows?) insurances in order. I mean that it's a big blow right to the face for a young person when there suddenly is nothing left of your new car. People say it's only car, it's only money.. But honestly, nothing's only something.
It was weird to see people's faces that day, everybody smiled 'cause it looked so cool even though they all kept on saying how horrible it was. I guess it's quite natural but still.. it felt weird. Sure it was something people don't see every day but still.. Somehow it felt wrong. (And I know perfectly well that these are just my stupid feelings and they can't be generalized. And it doesn't make anyone a better person whether he/she smiles or not at an accident scene. It just was something that made me feel odd.) Weird day. Mi 19th birthday. Huh, never had one like that.
